How it works
Four simple steps.
- 1
We collect
A Zopno Safai Sathi collects from your premises on a fixed schedule. - 2
We sort at our MRF
Wet, dry, sanitary and special waste are kept apart, bin to vehicle to MRF centre. - 3
We recycle
Each stream goes to an authorised facility to be recycled, composted or safely disposed of. - 4
We report
You get a record of every pickup.

Segregate like this
Four streams, four bins
Click a bin to inspect
Wet Waste Protocol
What goes in
Kitchen, garden and food waste, organic peelings, tea bags
Where it goes
Composted or bio-methanated at an authorised partner facility
What you get
Weighed, geotagged, and receipted in daily compliance log
Mis-segregation is the most common reason generators fail an audit.
AUDITABLE OPERATING ARCHITECTURE
Why Zopno
A contracted loop where every handover is verified on device and validated on arrival, before records ever reach your compliance file.
Waste bay transformation
Before Zopno
Uncontrolled
Mixed, unlabelled, unweighed.
After Zopno
Audit Compliant
Four streams, weighed, on record.

AI SEGREGATION CHECK

A flagged load is attributed to the premises that sent it (evidence photo & timestamp returned)
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
AI reads the whole handover
Four machine checks run on every handover, from the bin to the weights. Each one is a reading the system makes, not a form somebody fills in.
AI reads the photo's stream
A photo uploaded at the bin is read by the app and categorised into one of the four statutory streams — wet, dry, sanitary or special — and attached to the record.
Point 01
Doorstep Photo Check
Safai Sathi submits a photo at the bin, and computer vision screens it — the right bin, a full load, and a real frame.
Point 02
On-Device Face Match
Biometric validation confirms authorized personnel presence.
Point 03
MRF Vision Screening
Conveyor cameras inspect density and purity at the receiving bay.
Point 04
Weight Anomaly Detection
Outliers cross-referenced with historic volume trends.

LIVE TENANT INTERACTION INTERFACE
Same-day status updates without manual ticketing
Occupants report directly through mobile-friendly interfaces. Every request generates an auditable ticket tied to the route vehicle, updating resolution status same-day without calls to facility management.
1. Dump issues closed with evidence
A photo and a location from the occupant, routed to the Waste Experts, closed with a record.
2. Missed collections re-routed the same day
The occupant's report becomes a route correction, not a month-end dispute.
3. User fees reconciled against the premises
No cash handling on your side. The facility's contract stays on a single invoice, and occupant fees are kept separate.
4. Complaints tracked to resolution
Odour, spillage or staff conduct — a ticket per tenant, with a trail you can point at.
Daily segregation status per premises, marked segregated or mixed on every single morning round.

Frequently Asked Questions
Statutory obligations, Bulk Waste Generator compliance, and operations.
Under the updated Solid Waste Management (SWM) Rules 2026, Bulk Waste Generators (BWGs) must segregate waste at source into minimum four separate streams: wet biodegradable, dry recyclables, sanitary waste, and domestic hazardous/special waste.
BWGs are barred from handing over unsorted waste to municipal street collection vehicles and must either treat organic waste on site or contract an authorised private waste concessionaire like Zopno with verified end-point destination reporting.
